I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 Ultrabook pc. It came installed with Windows 8.1. I partitioned the (C:) drive, & installed W.10, & put W.8.1 on (D:) drive, (E:) drive being the backup. A couple of months ago I started getting a lot of freezing & the BSOD. Then everything started working ok again. Now it has all started again. Once I can get into W.10 it works fine, but I don't like W.10. But W.8.1 keeps freezing. I have a heck of a job even getting into Windows at all because of warning messages & options to select. I also am now getting the 2 error messages, the --14c one being the latest. My memory is not very good due to my age, so I can't always remember what I did before. But amongst all my USB's, (I don't have a DVD device), I have one titled 'Lenovo Recovery' & another 'W.8.1 Boot USB Device'. I don't know how to proceed from here. I don't understand this 'Recovery' business.
The Recovery USB consists of: boot, efi, sources, bootmgr, bootmgr.efi, & reagent.xml.
My Lenovo (E:) drive consists of: Lenovo-PC which when selected shows 3 alternative selections:
Restore my files from this backup.
Restore files for all users.
Manage space used by this backup.
But I haven't been keeping a running backup on it!
I would appreciate any advice, but please allow for my old brain & keep things fairly simple. Thank you very much.

Since I rec'd no answers I decided to do a factory reset. I'm very glad I did. I didn't lose any of my custom created apps from popular websites & I had all my personal stuff on a USB flash drive. Now no problems until the next lot arrive!!
