Solved How long is License for Release Preview?

Hello friends,
I was just wondering, how long can we use the release preview? I mean microsoft wont allow users to use the release preview for lifetime!! Will they? ;)
And after the stable windows 8 is released in somewhere around october this year, as is rumoured, will release preview continue working?
And will somebody be able to activate the release preview version if he/she installs the release preview after the actual windows 8 is released?
And will microsoft keep the windows 8 release preview in their download center after they release the actual windows 8?

slmgr /dlv

You will be presented with your license information including:

Evaluation End Date: 15/01/2013 23:59:59

What is "Remaining Windows rearm count: 1000"? Is that the remaining count of times I have to boot?

"Rearm count" is the number of times you can "rearm" or extend the grace period for Windows activation. For example, In Windows 7 the count is normally 2: each "rearm" gives you another 30 day grace period to activate Windows.

So, I'll have 1,000 - 30 day grace periods to activate Windows 8? I'll never have to buy a license for I'll never live that long and/or Windows 9 will be released!

Just kidding. It will probably be the same as 7 as you stated.

I would say yes. You have until the expiration date in the command result window as described above.

I doubt that one will be able to download or install 8 RP after a certain date. Maybe even before final release date.

And will microsoft keep the windows 8 release preview in their download center after they release the actual windows 8?
