What creates rspDisMonLog.etl

So I'm trying to find out what causes my dpc to spike to 90:ish sometimes. Most of the time it's low and nice, but sometimes it spikes. When I started investigating this I noticed xperf.exe would just quit with an error. I was going to do :

xperf -on Latency

xperf -stop

xperf -I \kernel.etl -symbols verbose -a dpcisr > latency_report.txt

to find out which processes create high dpc.

However xpert exited with an error. When I do "xperf.exe -stop" it quits with "The trace you have just captured "C:\Users\Knowhere\AppData\Local\Temp\rspDisMonLog.etl etc etc". I'm pretty sure it's something else than xperf.exe that does this though. Xperf.exe hasn't been used on this sytem yet, it's not been installed (just copied over) and is not anywhere in the %path%. I have been trying 'handle.exe' from sysinteranals, but that hasn't given me any information.

I admit to be a bit stumped. Any assistance would be appreciated.
