I wonder if there is any option to set custom size for icons in the taskbar? Small size is little bit too small, large is little bit too large Any registry hack? I know you can change DPI, but this far from perfect. You can change the width of the icon, but what about the height? If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know. Thanks!
I found a page with the same request. One suggested changing the DPI setting. Although that may have unwelcome side effects. A couple of other suggestions are on the same page here:

You are welcome. I guess that is one of the motivations for all the custom docks like RocketDock. I had it configured exactly the same way on XP, Vista and Windows 7. Finally I got tired of it and on Windows 8 I used small buttons and a triple height Taskbar. But sometimes I do have to hover the mouse to get the text on the buttons I use less frequently.
