Bad Image Errors / DISM Reports

Hello all,
First time to the forum, thanks in advance.

I recently encountered multiple Bad Image Errors appearing in succession that I am unable to get rid of (few examples below). These errors have prevented me from running any browsers. I have been able to run Avast Free and Malwarebytes, but neither is returning an evidence of malware. I cannot turn on Windows Defender either.

ConCentr_AR: concentr.exe
C:\Windows/system32/dwmapi.dll is either not designed to run or windows or contains an error.

DropBoxUpdate,exe
redirector.exe
SelfServicePlugin.exe

In my search for fixes, I came across SFC / DISM diagnostics, which I am only falling further into the rabbit hole.

sfc / scannow not working
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
The component store is repairable.
The operation completed successfully.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Error: 14098
The component store has been corrupted.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Error: 14098
The component store has been corrupted.

Can someone direct me to the appropriate next step?
