I know it's supposed to be fore apps, But it says "Search: EVERYWHERE"

So when I type something in the search box, shouldn't it search files? And search EVERYWHERE? It never brings up the files Im searching for.....

Hi halfWest, you sound frustrated!

I use a small program called Everything, it just sits in the taskbar and always finds what I need it to. Maybe it will suit your way of working, try it, I've been using it for years and it mostly always finds what I need https://www.voidtools.com/

Here's a screenshot of the icon in the taskbar eve.png

And here's a quick example of a search for madonna (it pulls up everything on the fly as you type)

Hope that helps!

Edit: I forgot to says the result are more or less instant.
