First, two apologies. 1) I couldn't find a forum that looked relevant to my problem so this may be mis-posted. 2) I don't know the Windows lingo, so this may be more difficult than it should be.
The last 3-4 days, my apps are losing focus. May not be the right word - let me explain. If I'm working on MS Word (but the problem is in EVERY app), the bar along to top is dark blue. Recently, when I'm working in Word, the blue bar turns gray, meaning, I suppose, another app has somehow gained focus. I found this AM, Windows seems to give focus to the small arrow in the Task Bar - Show Hidden Icons. Every time the app I'm using loses focus, it moves to Show Hidden Icons.
How di I get Windows to stop changing focus?
