I got given an original Surface RT and did a full reset, it's running Windows 8.1 but OneDrive shows as SkyDrive in file explorer and also the app tile shows as SkyDrive. Is this normal or should it show as OneDrive? I've fully updated now.

OneDrive was originally named SkyDrive when it was first introduced but MS changed the name (I believe another company already had rights to the SkyDrive name).

OneDrive apparently works with things named either way for backwards compatibility. I wouldn't worry about it (as long as everything is working without issue) but my guess would be that if you uninstalled then re-installed OneDrive, everything would get named OneDrive. It's also possible that MS never renamed the product used by the RT operating system.

Yeah. If I switch to my Start Screen in Windows 8.0 it still has an App there named SkyDrive. :)
