What makes this really fascinating and mind blowing is the fact that it is literally from the year of 1999 when we all though our computer systems would bring the end of civilized society. It talks about technology that we have today like smartphones, smartTVs, and tablets. What makes this so interesting is how it speaks of a PC+ era where the power of the desktop PC will be everywhere and accessible to everyone and will even be in tablet form and it ends to say that the PC+ era of tablets will be the future of Microsoft...very fascinating how the article parallels perfectly with today. I honestly couldn't believe it was from 1999 because it sounded too modern and too much what Windows 8 is like.

It made me laugh a little because it started out saying that the ritual of the "PC is dead" is going on again that that fewer PCs might be shipped globally.
