I have Windows 8.1 installed on a new PC. I am finding that when the mouse pointer goes off the right hand side of the screen, I have to move the mouse back quite a long way before the pointer reappears on screen. It's like it thinks the screen is bigger than it is, but this can't be it, because otherwise surely it would display with parts of windows cut off at the right hand side when I do Full, wouldn't it? This is not the way the mouse behaves when I go off the other edges of the screen. In those cases the pointer disappears (at least, it does on the bottom edge), but I only have to move the mouse back fractionally for the pointer to reappear. This is how it has always worked in the past. But why this strange behaviour on the right hand edge of the screen? How do I fix it?
