How do I remove the "Mount ISO image" item from the menu?

The Windows 8's standard mounting option in the context menu is not useful at all because it is not compattible with the most ofd ISO images available. Thus I am using WinCD for the purpose. How can I remove the standard Windows' mounter menu item from the context menus?

I would take a look at the free utilities by Nir Sofer. Particularly ShellExView and ShellMenuView. You can find them here:
ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager For Windows

In fact he has a launcher just for launching his utilities he has so many. NirLauncher. Worth having in your toolbox. I have used his software for years and I have never been burned. Excellent free system utilities.

    Hello Anixx,

The tutorial below should be able to help remove the "Mount" context menu in Windows 8 as well.

"Can Not Find Item" and similar prompts in Performance & Maintenance
My apologies if this has been discussed (and hopefully solved) in the past. Windows 8 FILE EXPLORER has begun prompting me that it "can't find" or items "do not exist" when I try to manipulate the files in any manner. Of course they DO exist and oddly, if I repeat the command, the job gets done....
