Hi All,
Every now & then, I have a problem where I save an image to a folder my E Drive & then I can't locate it in that folder - it's not there. I then try to resave the image to the same folder & I can see the original file in the 'save as' screen & I am given the option to replace the original file. I do this but when I navigate to the folder after saving the image, the file is not there.
Please see the attached screen shot showing firstly the 'images' folder showing a saved bitmap file. The second screenshot show the same images folder which I navigate to after saving the bitmap image. As you can see it's empty. When I try to copy the image file immediately after saving the image & paste it to another folder, I get a message box advising "Could not find the item. This is no longer located in (file location). Verify the item's location & try again".
My PC is 64bit & the fractal program I'm using to create the bitmap images is 64 bit as well.
I'm at a loss on how to get this fixed. Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers
Stan
**Problem Solved** I uninstalled the fractal program from my E Drive & re-install to the default C Drive location and this solved the problem.
