Problems with disabling onscreen keyboard.

I have read & checked all the options for disabling the onscreen keyboard written by Shawn Brink in his tutorial: 'Onscreen Keyboard - Turn of or on in Windows 8'.
However, the online keyboard is still opening & I don't need it. Is there possibly a method to use the keyboard keys to disable it on my Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro Ultrabook? Or is there something else I need to do? Thanks for all suggestions.
