Laptop Crashes When I Close The Lid

I am currently on Windows 8.1 Pro through bootcamp on a Macbook Pro 13.3" Early 2015 model.

The problem occuring is that my computer crashes and shuts down when I close the lid. I'll assume that something is wrong with sleep mode, since it goes into sleep mode when I close the lid.

It begun after I installed Connectify, but persisted after I uninstalled it. I suspect that it did something to my computer, but I can't seem to find what it did. Can anyone help?

Probably registry changes were made, and left made. You have no current, very recent OS partition full image that you can restore? If not, perhaps a System Restore Point? My money's on a full image restore over any SRP.
Many forums do not promote the usage of any registry editing. I cannot offer a solution other than the above.
