Hey Guys

Long story short, am having this issue in Win 8. Few days back I accidentally disable some service/s. Now I cant do anything like extract zip files, exe files and other program like say Jetboost, I cant restore anything to previous date. Only thing I can still do is browser net, cant play any music, video etc. Tried to reset but cant go to safe mood as well...
Now I dont know what to do next. Tried upgrading to win 10 as well but wasnt able too. Plz see the attached pixl if that helps.

Plz guy I need help to resolve this problem, much appreciated.

Can you still use File Explorer?
Do you or can you get, and ISO of Windows 8(.1)?
Then you try a repair install.

I can but cant do anything, as I mention above same error message pops up.

Perhaps there might be some other way to replace existing Services.msc. Btw, I cant run cmd or any other exe files WITH Admin privilege.

Have you been backing up your files(and any keys for installed software you might need), before this happened?
Because if you absolutely cannot use admin privileges, you probably have to reinstall windows.
If your stuff isn't backed up to another disk or to the cloud(i.e. OneDrive), do you know how to use a Linux live disk/usb environment? Then you can move your data files(music, docs, pictures, videos, and such) to an external drive, and then reinstall.
I hate to say it, but, you've "broke" your OS.
I've done it enough, testing things out, until I learned to make system images before starting something.

Start and crash the boot process 3 time in a row, by starting(not restarting) and then as booting starts, press & hold the power button.

As far as I know and can tell, you only have three options: Reinstall Windows, use System Restore to restore Windows to a point before you foolishly started to play with the services, or restore an earlier system image.

To use System Restore or System Image Recovery you need to boot from Windows boot media (I doubt you can run them from desktop). Enter your language settings, click Next:

2016-05-16_10h28_01.png

Select Repair your computer:

2016-05-16_10h28_46.png

Select Troubleshoot:

2016-05-16_10h29_53.png

Depending which restore method you choose, continue as told in these tutorials:

If you have a system image made with a third party imaging application, you can of course also boot with its boot / rescue media and restore that image.
