"Date Modified" When Copying/Moving Folders

Hello, I remember the time when moving or copying folders to different locations used to keep their "Date Modified" detail exactly the same as the original, yet now when I move or copy a folder to a different location, the Date Modified is updated to the date and time that I moved/copied it. Why has this happened? What fix can I do to keep that "Date Modified" detail to be the same exact as the original?
"Date Created" is supposed to apply the new date and time, Not "Date Modified".

Help me fix this. Thanks

You might have to use a 3rd party utility to do the moving/copying such as Free Commander XE -- I'm guessing such may include the option to keep folder/file's Date Created. Please report back if you are successful. I do not believe explorer.exe has that option anymore.

I use FastCopy yet it's such a hassle to do that whole process. I remember that explorer used to do it . It is much more convenient though Windows. I am looking for some registry edit to fix this.
