Hi everyone!

After I discovered a rotation lock button on my Lenovo Yoga 2 pro, the start up screen has been out of sync. It's not like I've broken it or something, I just started using it and next time I turn the pc on, the screen is vertical (instead of horizontal) and won't go back with the help of that rotation button, it simply doesn't work. I log in (still looking at the vertical screen) and when I'm on my desktop I have to switch a mode (to a stand mode for example) for the computer to actually switch to horizontal screen. After that, the vertical screen doesn't bother me until I have to turn the computer back again.
Can anyone please help me solve it? Do you think it's something wrong with the button or it's something with the drivers?
I have previously switched from win 8 to win 10 (which had a lot of driver problems) and back to win 8 (which runs without a hitch apart from this particular issue).

Thanks in advance for all your help!

One standard support "trick" is to boot to Safe Mode. Then go into Device Manager and delete the drivers for the device. In this case the video. Reboot normally. Windows will say "new hardware found" and install the same driver over again. For some reason more than half the time this seems to fix most any driver issue, at least for a while. Sometimes it stays fixed for months. It is a good thing to try. It is very low risk. I have never heard of Windows not loading the same driver back on the next boot.

If it doesn't work you have only lost a little time for the trial.
