Hello my surface pro 3 keeps booting to bios and I can only boot windows for a short while before getting the error Critical_process_has_died
And when I try recovery it says a system partition is missing p's I am on windows 8.1

I am running Windows 10 on my surface pro. You might be able to upgrade it and save all your info by downloading the free upgrade from the MS website and install it using a thumb drive. I actually carry around a drive in my backpack that is just for that purpose. It's a PNY 16Gig, but I think 8 gig will work.
