    High RAM after Factory Reset

So my normal computer broke down and (I hope) is being repaired. But for now I am using a Laptop that hasn't been in use for a year and a half or two. I factory reset it (Somehow it had viruses and shit) and I downloaded Advanced System Care, IObit Uninstaller, driver booster, and Malware Fighter (All IObit products). On the performance monitor, it shows that about 3 GB/3.88 GB is being used (it keeps changing) but there is nothing really on it except for the default apps (Windows 8).

It seems to be staying at 1.78 RAM or anywhere in that range, but CPU is really high.

If you are running all that stuff you downloaded at the same time I am not surprised you have issues. Instead of real time AV protection and booster programs get external storage(even if it iss only a USB stick) large enough to make a backup image of your system. Then get a free backup imaging program. Macrium Reflect works for most. If not here is a good list of free similar programs:
Free Hard Disk Backup and Restore, Hard Disk Image and Cloning Utilities (

Just run virus scans periodically instead of running shields. Real time AV shields mess up more systems than viruses.

IObit software is known for messing things up and you don't want to use driver booster program as that is 1 of their programs that messes the most with your system.
