!Hellooo :D
How do I change the startmenu tiles, to my own homemade tiles? I'm bit of a ps-geek and I'm very tired of the plain and the equal designed tiles to my third party applications, like Google Chrome, Adobe's, etc.

Here's an example of what I want to do.
I'm showing you the original Google Chrome tile, and beneath is an illustration of how I really want it to be. What you see in this picture is a drawing, made in photoshop. The cooool Chrome-Tile is not real :(

Unfortunately, that doesn't work with Windows 8. The cool tiles, like chrome, would need to be metro app. I hear google is building a metro chrome browser, it might have a cool tile.

hi Eirik,

well as Coke Robot says you cannot add your own icon to everything.

what you can do : Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, etc

look for the .EXE file, create a shortcut on the desktop. Rename the lets say Word-shortcut to Word, which is nicer.

Go to properties and change the icon to what you want.
Pin it to to start (metro) and taskbar if you want.

But for Chrome:

go to the C: drive search for Chrome, find the SHORTCUT, and only that.
Copy this to the desktop and do as mentioned above.

Look here at my metro picture. Look at the middle.
