Open Admin??!! Hell no!

Open with Admin Privilege?! Get outta here..

Ok, so you know the little Yellow shield on programs that means it opens in Administrative mode?

Well, is there a way to open up programs in a way that is not "administrative mode" ???

Can I still open programs up in just "standard mode" or Normal.. especially since they aren't even ticked to open in that mode in preferenees but they still have the shield!?

    Example: Auslogics Duplicate File Finder...

why does it have to open in Admin mode?! and Can I just run in non-Admin mode!?

When you double click it.. isn't that running it in Non-Admin mode? If you right click and say Run as administrator, then it runs in admin mode

Well ok but why doesn't my other programs have the little yellow shield like Auslogics??

For example here are different some very well known programs and look at the difference..

Not sure really. I always thought that the shield programs need to run as an Admin to work. Yet I'm not 100% certain of this idea.

Well, you would think a program like speccy, (which has to look up your entire system and gain information all about your serial numbers and all kinds of crazy info about your system) would need to be run as Administrator.. but as you can clearly see, Speccy does not have the shield or run as Administrator..

Meanwhile a duplicate file finder needs Admin privileges? ha, what?

so I guess that theory is kinda out..

I was going to add something, however, when I looked at my data recovery icons for programs I set to always run in admin mode, there are no shields. I have seen the shields on my desktop before, now, I do not see them, I'm baffled also.

Ahhh, that's the answer! Because I'm constantly updating, installing, etc. I run the Roland acct at admin level. I have no Std user yet.
