Why in the file explorer i see no preview of the images ?

I tried both options in this link for solution: Thumbnail Previews Not Showing in Windows 8 Explorer?

But i still cant see preview of the images.
    What i see is this:

Sometimes i see no preview at all sometimes only part of the images they are bmp type.
What else can i do ?

Do you use CCleaner? Perhaps it is set to delete the thumbnail cache?

Make sure "Always show icons, never thumbnails" option is not enabled .

Go to your File Options > click View tab at top > UN-check the box " Always show icons, never thumbnails " > OK when done.
