Should I do a system restore?

Just looking for some advice because I'm not sure if it's a good idea or worth the hassle. Couple weeks ago, I got a BSOD caused by an old display driver. Problem solved by getting a new update on the display driver. Then I had problems with my internet connection so I've had to unplug and replug the router and the cable box. Continued to have problems so I troubleshooted my networking connection and they said something about resetting the network adapter and did it on their own but somehow disabled my wi-fi. So I had to go in and enable it again myself.

Then the next thing that happened was my PC suddenly restarted on its own without warning. Luckily I hardly lost anything I was doing. I went to the event logs and figured there was an issue with a program called Bluestacks so I can use instagram on my PC and not on my phone. So now I have to remember to go to task manager and make sure it is turned off whenever I'm not using it. Now I went to check for any minidump files I might have since the last couple of days. Strangely, I do have one and it was put there last night like something went wrong with my computer like a sudden shut down. My PC didn't shut down or restart suddenly or anything strange. I did shut down my computer myself correctly (power button then shut down) like you're supposed to but I can't imagine why I'd get a minidump by doing that. I shut it down around 10:15 or sometimes after that and that's the time the file was put there.

So with all those different kinds of issues going on, I don't know if I'm just having bad luck or if I should do a system restore and whether that will do any good. It would be a hassle a bit because I'd have to reinstall the newest update for my display driver again which I installed already about a couple days ago and I'd have to reinstall ccleaner. I've used ccleaner before on my old computer and never had an issue with it before and I just installed it on my PC yesterday. I wonder if ccleaner causes problems now on PCs and if it was a mistake to install it although it did a really good job freeing up space on my hard drive. My hard drive space started getting used up more than I expected and I have no idea why because I haven't really saved that much stuff in a few days and I did throw out some stuff and emptied my recycle bin.

So anyway..... is it worth the hassle to do a system restore or am I just having bad luck? Would the system restore affect my networking connection? That has been quite an issue for the last couple of days until this morning. I hate to wait too long to do a restore if I should because I only got one restore point before all kinds of stuff has been happening. I have 2 others but they were during those problems. I wonder if I can create a restore point even if there isn't one available.

I would try running a diagnostic on the HD. If files are getting corrupted or not being read properly you could get erratic behavior.

How old is the HD? Spinner or SSD?

Not sure what a spinner or SSD is. I got my PC just last year in September. I had forgotten to ask for a brand new PC, rather than a used one so I hope this is not a used computer. Are there instructions on how to run a diagnostic on the HD? So far, the computer seems to be acting fine. I stopped getting the BSOD and completely unplugged the cable box so no problems with the internet. Maybe knowing how to run a diagnostic on the HD would be good for the future if I'm ever having a lot of problems in the future.
