taskbar icon now ''blank'' ! what happened?

This is strange ...have program icons on taskbar for quick-launch ...today after booting up, I saw(outlook mail) icon is now 'blank' !!! ( before it was identified as Outlook ) - any ideas ? it still launches Outlook. thanks in advance ...

well...... directons a little too 'advanced' for a simple computer-user like me & i'm afraid i'd do damage - LOL ... and since this addresses a totally blank Task Bar my problem is just one icon within the task bar (Outlook mail) - guess i'll just live with the blank icon in the task-bar - it still opens Outlook Mail ... thanks anyway

It's really simple. Step 1 of the tutorial has you download a .bat file. Once that's done, run it and you're finished.
I understand if you want to leave it asis though.

sounds simple - really - but you know the old saying...''if it's gonna happen to someone, it will be me'' - LOL..
i'm so 'tenuous' doing anything outside of opening emails that if it's not causing any harm to the computer, i'll just leave the icon 'blank' - it still opens Outlook Mail.. ...and thanks for understanding ...someone else might have accused me of ''not wanting to learn new things' .... regards - Edythe
