Hi,

I'm trying to play a few audios, but keep getting a message in WMP when trying to open them; that says: Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to play them?

Where did you get the mp3s from? Are you sure they are good? Have you tried playing them with any other media player such as VLC?

Purchased them as a product. As far as I know they're fine. Yeah, my fist thought was to use VCL - but no joy.

If neither WMP nor VLC can play the files then I suspect they are corrupt or something like that.

Can you play videos/music on web pages such as YouTube? Do you know if your sound card is working OK?
