    Hi Alpha
The Pre activated WIN 7 DVD has come with my old acer laptop which is crashed when my son spilt pepsi over it.. Mother board has to be replaced and I abandoned it and that was 3 years back. I used the same dvd to load this laptop. I dint have any other option. I got the win 10 directly from same link you provided.. But have never noticed a skip button. Let me try it now and come back to you..

Ok, I'm with you now. Usually when something is described as "Pre activated" it means its been tampered with in a bad way. It sounded like you might have downloaded it off of bit torrent etc. This is official Acer install media and not what I thought it was. It will likely install and activate, but technically your not allowed to use it on that laptop unless it has a COA sticker for Ultimate. You likely have some wrong drivers installed too. If you go to the link I posted and use the "Upgrade this PC now" option you don't need any install media and no key will be asked for.

If you want to be totally legal and above board, wait and use the official Windows 8.1 BIOS key.

Hi All, I have now installed win8.1 with Single language (Not Bing Version), I have tried activating windows on the system page and also running command prompt. But both went unsuccessful. if I try upgrading to WIN10 Single Language, with my Bios embedded product key will be picked and win10 could get activated?

Tired of trying permutations and combinations for the last one week with manier OS . Seriously down with spending too much time on this..

And pressure from wifey to get her laptop set right on the otherside..........need some amicable solutions guys .. Please help..

Thanks a lot for all supports so far ...

The With Bing and not with Bing use different sets of keys. You can't use one with the other. The only way your embedded key will work is if you install the exact version its for. Any other version will just reject it. Sorry, but that's the way it is coded. The With Bing is a special edition only the OEM's get from Microsoft. I have not seen it for download on any official Microsoft site. That only leaves sites like bit torrent sites, which are risky as it may have been modified in a bad way. One out, is to just buy a new license/version of Windows 8.1 or 10. Or 7 if you want it and can find it. I wish I had better news but I don't. I have an MSDN subscription and still can't get that version of Windows.

Mine nagged me to create recovery media? I got several reminders. Mine shipped with 8.0 Core though, which wasn't that hard to find. I wasn't an MVP then. Now I can get almost any version I want via MSDN. I ditched the factory install long ago for a clean install. It's too bad the Media Creation Tool doesn't offer that version. If you do a forum search for say "with Bing", you might get lucky and find a link to a download somebody has already tried. Your not the only one looking for that ISO. Wish I had more to offer.
