Photos are dragging and blocky (Pics)

I am running windows 8 on a Gateway comp that is a couple years old. The problem i am having is when i am on sites with photos they show up where they're not supposed to in just random places and overlapping other photos. I have added a couple of screenshots. The computer seems to be running ok otherwise. I have done a windows defender scan and a Malwarebytes scan and everything is ok. Any ideas how i can fix this ? Thanks.

There's one feature I really don't understand in Windows 8. I move mouse to the top of the screen, and now I can drag desktop and push it to right/left side of my display. The rest of the screen is empty, there are no even metro apps (I expected it because it would at least make more sense than...
