I was downgrading from 10 back to 8.1 pro when the system crashed. To restore my 8.1, it wants my MS account password. I can't remember it. Reset the password thru MS but the computer does not know the new password due to the crash. Don't want to overwrite my data, just want to fix 8.1 to work again. Also, I have an secondary drive that used Bit locker. I do not want to lose access to that drive either by overwriting the OS. I do have the recovery key for the Bit locked drive as well as my password to it. Any thoughts for me? No backup of the OS. No recover USB for the MS password. All I get is the same ole blue screen asking for my account password. I do not have the password for any other account on my PC either. Help!!!
