my son presented me with the above error message on his laptop about 2 hours ago, at first i thought it was the result of a virus, but after googling it the results pointed to the Lenovo forums and all the talk was about hdd crashes.
i can get a new identical replacement hdd for about $100 and shipped within 3-4 working days, but my real issue is as follows.
how do i go about getting the original windows 8 OS onto the new hdd, is it possible to download it from the microsoft site and put it on a bootable flashdrive.
