Windows Photo Printing Wizard differences

I have a desktop and laptop, both running Windows 8, the laptop running Pro. There are differences in the choices for printing sizes and appearance of the image when using each Photo Printing Wizard that I do not remember being a problem previously:
1. Paper size: clicking 'More...' gives me a total of seven different sizes on the desktop, whereas there are more than 50 options on the laptop
2. Image appearance: the image for printing does not fill the rectangle on the desktop, even when I have chosen 10x15cm and the proportions are correct, as can be seen in the attachment. This could be because I do not have the choice of Borderless 10x15cm, perhaps.
I use Paint.NET typically, but the situation is the same in Photo Viewer.

Photo Printing Wizard went away with XP. Since you are talking about some website that you are using online. Their FAQ's and forum would be the best help you can get.

With the HP Photosmart printers, the software you have to install, would be best. Otherwise use Gimp to size the photos for the paper.

I thank you for your reply. I am half confused and half enlightened: I installed the HP software supplied with my Photosmart Premium C310 on my laptop alone so that I could scan, primarily. I have not installed it on my desktop but I do print from the desktop. That being the case, I do not understand why the 'Print Pictures' window appears on both machines both in Paint.NET and Windows Photo Viewer by right-clicking an image file and selecting Open with>Windows Photo Viewer>Print>Print.

Associations for the file extensions. Load the software and go into the Control Panel and look for "Default Programs". Then just associate what program you want to handle the pictures.

Gimp is better than any program out there. It will all you to resize. But without the Full software for the printer. Windows Print Spooler is only using generic drivers, which is causing the screwedup print jobs.
