So I bought a very portable laptop today. It's the Asus x205ta and it has 32gb's of ssd storage (So far i'm loving it). Anyway after booting up and getting everything to my liking, I found that the windows 10 upgrade has downloaded automatically to my system. It's just waiting for me to upgrade...
Hi there everyone,
I have been struggling terribly with my WU. I am currently running 8.1 Pro, 64 bit. But for the past few months, none of the automatic updates have been working. Some of them download, but don't install. Some won't download. I Would like to upgrade to 10 eventually, but I can't...
As you can see in the image below, I have clicked on 'Check For Updates' and once it had shown 1 IMPORTANT UPDATE, I clicked on it to see what it was, and it displays a blank screen?
I can put a bunch of files on the system. When I put the drive back in the pc and turn it on all the files disappear and the free space changes to show those files being gone.
Anybody know if microsoft will ever fix this issue? It started when 8 first came out and it still does it. Its a pain...
My updates and driver installs never finish because they always stop at a certain percentage and I have to eventually force shutdown the PC.
I accidentally installed Windows 8 on a data drive.
I can't delete them. Does anyone know how to delete those folders (Windows, Program Files etc.).
