All my files are still on my computer it just reset today when I turned it on, all my downloads were gone and my background was when I got it, did windows have an update or something?

Yes mine had some updates downloaded and installed also my Toshiba had graphic card and bios upgrade ready for when I want to upgrade to windows 10, since upgrade both by Toshiba and Microsoft it has got s lot faster, and I have had to re enter licence details for programs I have paid for.
