burning DVD

I was trying to burn DVD from my home made one, stored on my laptop. Three times! It gets stuck at 'files are ready to be written to disc (3)'. Then nothing happens. I tried to chat with MS, the technician said I must pay to have some special support .. It is not the first time when MS chat refuses to solve elementary issues insisting that I should pay them for W 8.1.
What shall I do?

Finally I managed to sort it out myself. All I need to do was right click on disc icon and then "burn". Tell you what, I have another laptop with Windows 7 and no way I will updrade to 10, 11, 12 etc. 8 is a total nightmare.
