ASUS - Internet providers not opening

    Hello everyone.
I've been having this problem for several weeks now and can't seem to diagnose it

My google chrome takes an excessive time to open. I recently downloaded a new browser, 360 which is doing the same thing..
Mozilla Firefox on the other hand works perfectly and opens without any delay.

I'm using an Asus X553M laptop.
Any help will be appreciated, thank you (:

It really depends on how many extensions you have installed in Chrome. You can boot it into Safe made. In "Run" type in "chrome.exe --incognito" (no "). That will boot you into chrome with no extensions running. In order to find the one that broke the browser, you have to disable all, then turn them on one by one, until you find the culprit.

I don't think I've ever installed any extensions in Chrome. Typing chrome.exe --incognito in CMD only gives me "'chrome.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
Thanks for the link but that Chrome shutting down is not my issue, it's getting it to open which takes several minutes and sometimes doesn't open at all.
I'm not sure how to disable browsers, if could help would be appreciated, thank you

You could wipe out the user profile for it, and start with a clean startup. You have to run what I posted in "Run", not a Command window. You will always get errors in the Command window if you try it that way.
