Security key question

Ii am looking for or to purchase a computer lock for Win 8.1.

What I am looking for is something to put onto a USB stick and use it to not boot up Windows, but to make sure it does not boot up without the USB in a port. Something that will make it more secure and in case of it getting stolen as I have only a laptop. As I will be taking it out of the home I want a secure means of protecting my laptop so only I can get into it or have others use it with the key loaded to keep it operational.

Any help please or suggestions as to what product will make this work?

You need to disable the use of changing boot with such device & DVD/CD.

Even without the key. It will only take seconds for someone with forensic tools to gain access.
