So for the past month or so I have been getting this terribly annoying bug/glitch where when ever I press the number lock it seems to cycle threw different macro like things like where if when its not doing the bug I press it once when I try and type or press the "H" key it input "kh/3" then opens the "Project setting" in windows 8. There are like 3 different macro like things that happen when ever I enable/disable the "NUM Lock." This is also happening when ever I press any of the arrow keys.

P.S. I am running on a Toshiba Laptop with Windows 8 OS

Any help would be appreciated.

Could it be possibly the bundled crap-ware that OEMs put on laptops they sell?

I have an older toshiba satellite, and when I activate numlock. (Fn + F11)

There are a bunch of keys other than the numberpad replaced on my keyboard but none of them do anything as far as I can tell.
The OS installed on it isn't the OEM OS it originated with, and I've always assumed it was because I didn't have Toshiba's software/crapware running to make those keys do stuff.

Though if the computer starts doing random dodgy stuff when you've only pressed the Num-Lock key and nothing more, then you might want to boot into a Windows Setup Flash drive, or Linux Live USB/CD just test if anything weird is happening with the keys still. Then you've pretty much narrowed it down to the hardware, or the Windows OS installed on the laptop, as the source of the problem. :)

Well I can tell you that when I just press "Number Lock" nothing happens but after I press it it activates the weird macros or bugs. Still don't know how to fix it with your information but some more information I can give to you is that even when number lock is off there are still bugs when typing like sometimes after I type an "h" a "/" will come right after it (th/e, th/in)

Could be keyboard is broken.

Try another operating system (a live USB or CD, don't reinstall), or an external USB keyboard to confirm.
