Hi, I want to control a second PC (win7) on my desk and currently I am using my Surface and TightVNC and it is doing what I need, but the local screen refresh is jaggy and slow.
I am OK with using the separate monitor of the second PC so do not want the full KVM-switch adapter. I tried an inteck HB4009 which claims to do this with their Magic Port and it does, sometimes. But mostly it loses the mouse on both devices or totally locks up one or both or the connection. This is not an isolated thing with the HB4009 as there are many reports online of exactly that behavior for this hub. Great idea but terrible driver software.
Anyone know of a simple way to control the second PC using the local PC mouse and keyboard?
Thanks
