Solved How to add to right click new menu?

Hi Guys

Can someone please tell me if there is an easy to use program to edit the right click new context ( I seem to be missing word ?)

Failing a program , step by step regedit guide would be good, I have followed a few already but with no success.

Thanks for the reply, the new menu is not missing, there is excel and access but no word?

I modified the registry and entered value 1 on nullfile this did not make any difference .
The programs mentioned in the post also do not work.

I also noticed that the shell new key is under Word.Document.12 ( I thought it should be 14)?

Any restore points made before this happened that can go back on ? What do you have Microsoft office ?

No restore points, office 2010 pro

Chances might have to repair Microsoft word, in your case might be whole Office 2010, if none of those other solutions worked, since no restore points either.

Ran repair on Office 2010 ? Any option settings in Word or anywhere else in Office, i can't recall use to have Office ?

I have tried all your methods , none of which work

Your last option is 2001 software,?..I tried google before I posted on the forum, I have gone into regedit and I think the problem is somewhere there, I did originally install office 2013, I then uninstalled it and went back to 2010.

Does anyone know how to manually set the correct option and where?

The 2001 software still works.

Where do you expect Word to show up? I have Office 2007 installed and Word, Excel, etc. only appear in Open with. If that's where you want to see it, click Open with then More options. Scroll to the bottom and browse for winword.exe.

Hmm could not see an option for what I need, issue I have is when I right click on a blank area of the desktop, then select new, there is no option for word , only excel, powerpoint and access, help appreciated.

winword /r from Run box re-runs the Office configuration.
