If I upgrade to Windows 10 will i lose Windows 8.1 key?

Hello my friends! :dinesh:

I recently brought a nice looking ASUS computer, preloaded with Windows 8.1. Cool eh? Comes with a 4th generation Intel i3 and the whole lot! :cool:
But, I notice a Get Windows 10 icon on my panel! :eek:

Now, I was wondering if I accept this wonderful free offer from Windows 10 will it be a 1 year trial or will my Windows 8.1 product key come to Windows 10...

Your Win8.1 will be used (taken) by Win10 so you can't install Win8.1 again on a different computer. But you can roll back to Win8.1 (remove Win10) if you want and your original key will then be used again for Win8.1.
