Holding down "ctrl".... cant select multiple files

I used to be able to hold down the "ctrl" button while pickin several files, which would be highlighted. Now its not working.
I did use a rather aggresive registry cleaner, not sure if that did it or not.

Do you have a Restore Point or saved Registry set? Most cleaners make a backup even if it is only a .reg file.

I'll have to check and see. I usually dont believe in registry cleaners, especially ones that find 3,500 registry errors (as this one did). However, I must say this after cleaning of the registry, it DID speed up my machine. Go figure...
I'll look to see on the BU, I belive it did ask if I wanted to make a BU before it started cleaning.

I found a nice Registry Backup freeware recently. What I like about it is it uses Shadow Services to back up all registry hives even though the system is in use. On my Laptop it takes about 1 1/2 minutes to make a snapshot and back up. But it's worth it. I have restored a few times with it and haven't noticed any weird behavior.

Well it seems to be working now after a few restarts. I'll have to check out the reg. BU you mention.
