Can anyone help me, I installed Win7 and Win8RP in separate partitions but now I only use Win8RP. When I boot- Win7 is on top of the list and boots first by default unless I input with the arrow keys to choose Win8. I really would like to delete the partition that contains Win7 but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone instruct me how to delete this partition that contains Win7 without harming anything else?

I think its more advisable to keep your Windows 7 at this stage so if anything goes wrong with W8 RP (remember, this is still a Beta OS and some people have run into some issues), you could still use Windows 7 and there are still legacy apps that might have problems or incompatibility issues with W8 RP so think about it first. Its your choice.

OK to make sure, open your Windows 7, search for any files in there that you still need, then back them up on another partition by copy-pasting them. And once you are sure that you've got everything important backed up, restart and open W8 RP, go to My Computer from the Desktop, look for the partition that contains Windows 7, in this case, its drive letter most likely will NOT be C:. Just look inside at the contents to make sure. Right click at the partition and choose Format and that's it, Windows 7 is gone. The formatted partition will now be empty. Once you have done that, search for msconfig by typing it on the Search bar. Open msconfig then go to the "Boot" tab, select Windows 7 from there and Delete but always confirm you have clicked the right option. This will now remove Windows 7 from the boot options at startup. You're good to go.

You can also use EasyBCD.

Oh thanks for all the help. I figured it all out now and got everything running nicely. I have Windows 8RP booting 1st by default now thanks to Google. Bing couldn't give me a straight answer as usual.
Btw, great answer Vertex, I decided to keep Windows 7 for now but I'm keeping your instructions for later.
