Solved How to use task scheduler to turn on Display?

Hi,

I am figuring on how do I wake a PC and also its display to be turn on automatically without touching? I have reading information online but to no avail. The processes on the source so far I've sought has been running in the background and requires a touch to work. I wanted it to work like an alarm clock to turn on its display automatically. Please guide.

You don't say what you did or didn't do or what did or didn't work. The main objection seems to be my solution was high on the results page. You marked the thread solved. But there is no indication if you just gave up or got the machine to wake. All a bit vague.

Nope I didnt gave up.. I kind of looking through similar program that can wake the PC up. You can read from my previous post. There's a link... Desktop app on windows 8 cannot turn on the display when in sleep mode.. But however Metro App does.. It's made to work in that way... no solutions for it...

The program you are using requires ACPI hardwaare support.
