Does anyone know how to disable completely the Ctrl+Alt+Del string in Windows 8? I'm not talking about editing the options once the screen comes up, but completely disable it so that no screen pops up...Please help!

I think with NT it was set in stone it could not be circumvented. At least I never heard of a bypass that worked.

You can, although 8.1 Enterprise does not use Ctrl Alt Delete by default.
None of the retail Windows 8.x use Ctrl Alt Del. It is still there if you press Ctrl Alt Del.
Server uses it.

Run > secpol.msc >
Local Policies >
Security Options > follow down to Interactive Logon: Do Not Require Ctrl+Alt+Del

Thank you all for the information. Let me give a little more info... The machine that I am trying to accomplish this on is a HP thin client with Windows 8 embedded. I am setting it up for an employee of my organization so he may use Citrix, and what I am trying to accomplish is to make it so once he is logged into Citrix, the ctrl alt del string does not bring up the menu....hope this added information helps

That appears to be an issue with Citrix. Windows 8 embedded on a corporate network is a different matter.
The 3 fingered salute may be necessary.

Maybe my best option is to go in and remove the options on the 3 fingered salute screen....just not give the user the ability to click on anything...
