Force all exe to start maximized

Hello,

I have an annoying problem and hope someone can help. I bought a cheap Windows 8.1 bing tablet and every exe I open is always forced to maximized, there are no third part applications running though, so I guess it's some registry entry or other manipulation by the manufacturer.

I already googled but couldnt find anything about this, just that you could edit HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console key FullScreen to 1, but my value is set to 0.

Is there another way to manipulate the start behavior for all exe? Maybe by some policy editor settings? Thanks!

You are getting your terms all mixed up. If you are using a tablet with Windows installed, you would be opening up App's, or Shortcuts that use an App Button. Default behavior on tablets is to open Maximized/Full Screen.

What are you even talking about Mr. "VIP PRO USER" o_0 There was not one SINGLE TERM MIXED UP IN WHAT I SAID. TERMS BEING USED: EXE, WINDOWS 8.1, MAXIMIZED => rest is logic and your logic is totally nonsense, because you are talking about "apps", AND MODERN UI APPS IN WINDOWS 8.1 ARENT EXECUTABLE FILES. AND I DIDNT SPEAK ABOUT WINDOWS RT OR WHATSOEVER, 8.1 MAKES IT CLEAR WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. But I will make it even more easy to understand for you: REGARDLESS WHAT EXE, EXE, EXE, I OPEN ON MY WINDOWS 8.1 8" TABLET, IT OPENS WITH MAX RESOLUTION AKA 1280x800, EXPLORER, CONTROL PANEL, EVEN THINGS WHICH ARENT ALLOWED FULLSCREEN LIKE CPU-Z, WHATEVER EXE YOU OPEN.

I already deleted BagMRU and Bags entries and recreated, didnt change anything. (Fix : Folder view resets in Windows / Lost folder view settings in Windows 7 ,Vista | TroubleShoot Windows)

Could someone now help me please who knows how Windows works, thank you. But I guess I need to ask again on the sevenforums, it was my mistake opening the thread on here, because I never ever got any decent help on these forums, mostly because all qualified people are still on the sevenforums :(

But I have to screencap this, "If you are using a tablet with Windows installed, you would be opening up App's, or Shortcuts that use an App Button. Default behavior on tablets is to open Maximized/Full Screen". I should post it in the MSDN forums, should give some people a good laugh.

I know what I am talking about. I am wondering why you posted what you did for the second post.

Apps are not .exe files. Majority are shortcuts to actual programs. Metro Apps are written in C# or C++ with XAML, C++ with DirectX, and JavaScript with HTML/CSS.

MSDN forums you think that they will laugh at this. Nope. It will just get buried as a nothing post or deleted.
