Error 0xc000000e on dual boot with Ubuntu

Not one forum has an appropriate solution to fix my issue. So here it is. I have an early 2011 Alienware m17xr3. Dual hard drive. Came with Windows 7, BIOS not UEFI. Dual boot with Ubuntu 15.04 and Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit. Windows is on first hard drive. Installed Windows first. Using GRUB2. Reversed boot order so GRUB (on Ubuntu hard drive) boots first so I have a boot loader. Both HDD on GPT. Select first (boot) partition on Windows HDD to boot. Get the above error code saying winload.exe missing or contains errors. Startup repair from install DVD fails. Try Boot Repair CD and doesn't fix. What is wrong? Getting rid of either or reformatting is a non starter. Want both and Windows requires far too much data to get back up. Help please. Everything for 8 is for UEFI not BIOS.

Unless the bios is capable of UEFI, you will never get any OS that tries to use that mode. They will all run in the regular bios mode.

As for dual boot with Linux distro's and Windows. There are guides out there on the Ubuntu Forums, Major Geeks forum, how to set a machine up to dual boot with Windows & Linux.

What do you mean by this? I have Win8.1 installed on two different machines and BOTH are BIOS, not UEFI, machines.

I mean that every solution guide for this issue is based on a UEFI install of 8.1

OK, good then. My BIOS is capable of RAID, ATA and ACPI. Set in RAID even though I don't have any active arrays. Read that automatically goes to ACPI if no array. So ok with that. I know that there is support on Linux forums, but none of that solutions completely match the issues I'm facing. As previously mentioned, almost all solutions for Windows 8.1 are based on UEFI and not BIOS. Looked at solutions based on systems that shipped with Windows 7, which mine was, but none take into account people that upgrade to 8.1.

That is because it is assumed that with the majority of users computer life cycles. They tend to upgrade their machines every 6 months to a year.

There are still machines out there 10 years old, that are running Windows 7 just fine, along with being used for other platforms on networks.

If you really want to know what is causing the crash. Download "Who Crashed" from the Major Geeks Downloads Repository.

The issue with Windows 8, is that it hates older hardware, that the hardware manufacturer had not intended for people to upgrade to Windows 8, or even the newer Linux Distro's.

OK. Well haven't had any major problems with even the newest Linux distros. Problems always with Windows. Got the link to the repository? That might be helpful. Is is an FTP server, DEB repository, or just a website?

Like I had stated go to Major Geeks. The non-forum side which holds their Downloads, is just majorgeeks.com. Even if you did a search for the name of the site. First hit would give you the URL.

Only Unix & Linux uses Deb Repositories. I really have never searched for a Linux utility to read the Dump logs for Windows. The only thing that I mainly use on Linux for Windows, is Forensic tools, when I am trying to recover stuff from someone's mistake.
