1. Why is System Restore disabled by default on a new Acer Laptop with Windows 8 I recently acquired?
2. What is this about Windows 8 moving away from restore points to two new things called Refresh and Reset systems? What is Refresh and Reset? Is this something better than System Restore? Should I look into how to use them? Are they already working automatically by default?
I heard about Refresh and Reset as a result of googling how to access System Restore.
