Keeps deleting my fonts

Friday I turned on my computer and found all of my letters were changed to dots, boxes, etc. After much research (5 hours or more) I found that all of my fonts had been deleted. (Try working on your computer with every letter on the desktop and all control panel screens changed to "dingbats" instead of letters, makes life interesting.) So, I copied the fonts folder from my husband's desktop onto a flashdrive, and then installed them on my lap top, and problem solved. Or so I thought. Now every time I log off my laptop, and then turn it back on, same problem, and have to reinstall my fonts. Any clues what to do? I have Norton running, checked, and it did not find any malware.

Welcome to the Forums.

AutoRuns may be used to see which programs run on startup. If there is a malicious deletion batch file or something along those lines, it may show it. WinPatrol Free also has a startup section that may be a bit easier to use if less thorough.

I also recommend a complete scan with MBAM free version. The scanner part is the same as the Pro so you won't miss anything by using the free one.
