Hi,

While I was re-installing windows 8,I accidentally deleted a partition of my system.
I have tried to create a new partition, but it gave me an error. (We couldn't create a partition).I installed windows on another partition (one that I didn't deleted :D),and started up disk management,in order to create a partition from there, but It gives me an error, that says that there's not enough space in there.

I had linux mint and ubuntu installed on the partition (the partition was shrinked)
Now,please help me to create my damn partition.

Thanks,

Bob

You may have to boot a USB stick or DVD with partitioning utility and ReCreate your partition. Try DVD first. Trying USB is a several-step process.

Hi
First a disclaimer, I generally don't know what I am doing but... :)

I am guessing this is (will be) a dual boot system. I don't know about Linux Mint specifically (I haven't used it) but don't Linux distros give the option of creating/modifying the partitions during install? Also, I think (haven't done it though) you can modify a Linux partition with the installed Linux?

It could be an easier way to regain the partition.
