Yeah, this should have happened long ago but Microsoft did have Windows Marketplace in their website but it doesn't feel that popular.

With how they are making the store it is a cluttered mess. It's already a chore to sort through the limited amount of apps now I hope they organize the store better. It's just confusing and if they make it like the metro start screen with all programs mixed then it will be a mess.

Odd. Maybe another point of view. I think the store is very clearly organised into categories.

Use several different computers during a day, so specs are irrelevant.

That kind of reminded me of something from xp. For the start menu, there was a link called Windows Catalog. If you go to that now, it takes you to the Microsoft Store site. I wish this could have had third party items like software and hardware that was for the PC in itself. One could find the WHOLE plethora of Windows software that was approved by Microsoft and was guaranteed to be virus-free.

Haha, I forgot about Windows Catalog from Windows XP for years now lol. Back when I was still on XP, I would sometimes check Windows Catalog for stuff but the word catalog seems outdated now. Maybe I should browse there now and see if there's anything new and interesting I could use. I have an account there that I don't recall logging into for 2 or 3 years now.

They didn't seem to have made much effort to emphasize and make that site a hotspot until recently.
