Hi,

My Son's Laptop was running Windows 8.1 and started running Very Very Very slow. I went through the Reset PC process to return it to factory settings and it still ran really slowly but displayed a message saying the hard disk had errors. After trying to re-boot it now boots in secure mode and will not let me get as far as windows. I ran the diagnostics from here and got the following errors. Can anyone please tell me how to proceed and get his laptop working again?

Error code 2000-0151
Validation 82242
Msg: Hard drive 0-S/N WX51E43VAN73, Incorrect Status = 3E
SMART Predictive failure

Error code 2000-0332
Validation 71442
Msg: Video memory-Video memory integrity test discrepency

Thanks,
Nick

Get a rescue DVD or USB stick booted and save all your data. Predictive SMART failure may mean only hours or days of HD-spin time left.
